What is HIS Name?

June 4, 2012

My husband created a video a few years ago called “What is HIS Name?  Google Your Way to Truth” and has uploaded it to The Set-Apart Living Word.  It is a 24 minute which gives letter by letter pronunciation for the name of the Father, YHWH.  There is a lot of confusion about this subject and many people are just using the shortened form as stated in Ps/Teh. “Yah.”  When he first published the video years ago, people who said other variations, said they were able to clearly see what the name of the Father is.

Take time and see for yourself….

Learning to “Be Where you are at”

May 18, 2012

I first heard the phrase, “be where you are at” over ten years ago when someone was telling me about a very difficult experience they had.  I kind of blew it off until 12/17 when I torn my ACL while walking down 4 stairs.

As a result I would need surgery and therapy afterward.  I didn’t have insurance and the property on which I was injured, would only cover $15k-the surgery itself was $25k….

So for months I dragged my leg around, I couldn’t change my situation and my prayers didn’t seem to go anywhere.  There were times of bitterness and anger.  Somewhere along the way I began to learn something…I started learning how to just “be.”
Eventually I did have the surgery shortly after being married and it was a time of bonding for The Knight and I.

Over the last 10 years, learning to just be, has wrung in my heart often and especially when I have not been able to change the situations.  I’ve had wait. And wait. And wait.

Most of us living today, don’t like to wait.  We want immediate results and we want them now.  We fight tooth and nail to get what we want, but often our fighting is fruitless.

Right now, I am a mother of 4 little ones, and am pregnant with our fifth child and am very high risk.  I am nauseated all day and few foods taste decent.  I get tired easily…but my to do list is very long.

Here is where just “being where you are at” comes in.  Though I do try, I’d like to cook a lot of freezer meals, plan everyday of our next school year, have busy box activities for the kids to do on my down days, go through all the too small clothes sort them, make some clothes, grow a garden, read, walk….but right now I can’t do all that.

For me just being right now, means that I make what I can tolerate for the moment (which is hard when I’ve made a grocery plan).  But I have to give myself room to change up things from day to day-grocery and homeschool wise.  When our one year old son takes a nap, it is quiet time and I take that time to put my feet up and rest.

During this time, I find my self asking Yahuah, what does He want from me during this time?   Sometimes I think Yahuah wants us to slow down.  Our lives are so busy and we have so many requirements on us that we need times to just be.  Especially when there are situations beyond our control.  We have to find our place of “peace” in Yahuah and not in the problem or situation.

Again here is Teh91to help you if you are going through a time of learing to “be where you are at.”  I often find peace in reading Tehillim 91.

Ways to Save: $10 on Natural Foods/Supplements

May 10, 2012

This discount is too good to keep to myself.  I found it by being on the email list of HeavenlyHomemakers.com (no they are not believers, however they do have very good recipes and tips for healthy eating).  Anyhow, they had a link that said I could save $10 on natural and healthy products.  So since I needed prenatal vitamins in the liquid form I thought I’d see what it was about….

So I was able to order Nature’s Plus Liquid Prenatal Vitamin (vegetarian, kosher & gluten free) and get it shipped express for under $14 with the discount!!!

So you can save too! You may find something that you could get free (plus shipping)!  They have a lot of products such coconut flour, bran, oat flour, and some other things that I have been wanting to add into our diet at very reasonable costs…

What are you waiting for…go to the link right now.

Please note: Anyone who uses the link will get $10 off their first order, then I will get a $10 off coupon too!  I was not paid by Vitacost at all.  Since we are all working to eat healthier, this should help us out.  Then you can create your refer link too and save $10 for every person who orders through your link.

WPW & SVT – One Year Later

May 10, 2012

One year ago today (5/8/2012)  our lives changed.  Prior to then we’d never heard of WPW or SVT or knew that our son had any problems.  We did not know what it was like to leave our child in the care of the hospital.  We  didn’t know what it was like to sleep with fear.  We didn’t know what is was like to have to go to frequent doctor’s appointments and to continually get prescription refills.

May 8, 2011 changed us all.   Here is our journey: WPW Our Journey

One year later…

Although our son aka D.B.E. (Dark Brown Eyes) or Mighty hasn’t had an SVT in almost a year, we are always on guard.  Ice packs, medicine, and a stethoscope are always near me.  By all appearances he seems to be doing well until you hear his heart.

The average heat rate for a one year old is 120-160 bpm, his daily average  is 140-180.  When he goes into SVT it is over 240.

The plan now is to keep him on Inderal three times a day, then when he gets big enough he will have a surgery where extra electrical connection (WPW) will be zapped out.

We praise Yahuah for guiding us through this journey.  It could be worse.  Some kids are hospital bound and others end up having a lot of problems.

Bless the Name of the Most High, Yahuah our Elohim.
